Katie and Harrison, both actors, met working on a production for a small playhouse. They decided to exchange vows in Brooklyn, NY and settled on the Prospect Park Boathouse.
Our team planned and designed their wedding around Katie’s vision, which was “Audrey Hepburn meets fairytale cottage in the woods” - a mix of sophistication and whimsy. They chose a hand-painted stationery suite, designed by Ipanema, which featured elements of the boathouse and the local critters of the park.
Katie stunned in her Oscar de la Renta dress and Ivy Joy brought the florals to the next level with her lush designs. Even though their wedding was sophisticated and elegant, they didn’t forget the fun! Guests were encouraged to play games, color, and leave messages for the bride and groom on vintage phones.
